A Garden Party

Ted and I are friends with Erick who owns Garden District here in Memphis. He was putting on an open house/thank you party for his clients and was looking to rig projectors into the top of his party tent. Thursday night Ted and I went over to help him and loan them our projector and cables. 4+ hours later we left them reconstructing a tree in the middle of the tent and came back the next day to finish up. This was a beautiful party!

Ted looped a video of cascading leaves which played on 3 projectors. One projector was suspended over the main table in the center of the tent. That table had the aforementioned tree created by Erick and Greg. The tree held ball jars with votive candles and bright fall leaves and then had the projection of the falling leaves shooting through it to the buffet table. It was so pretty. The band was flanked by two panels of cascading leaves too.

We really enjoyed doing this party and hope to get the chance to do more down the road. Garden District is a fantastic shop with fantastic people!
